How to prepare ham and cheese croissants, the perfect snack

INGREDIENTS (4 people):- 2 sheets of frozen puff pastry
- 200 g of serrano ham
- 200 g of gruyère cheese
- 1 egg
- Sugar
- Salt

Preheat the oven to 180º C. Defrost and spread the puff pastry sheets with a rolling pin to form a rectangle of 40x25 cm. Make 2 cuts: one horizontally and one vertically to divide it into 4 pieces. Make 2 diagonal cuts again to form 8 dough triangles.

Cut the cheese into thin sticks. Put a slice of ham and cheese on each triangle of dough. Roll the dough to form a croissant.

Beat an egg with a pinch of salt and sugar and paint the croissants with the egg. Put in the preheated oven on baking paper and keep 10 minutes, until the puff pastry is inflated and browned.
